MOONSHINE SCHUBERT
Moonshine Schubert is an authentically original band based in Sun Valley, Idaho, blending an eclectic mix of alternative rock, hip-hop, reggae, and folk to create a truly unique sound. Formed in 2019, the band offers a powerful live experience, known for emotionally charged, story-driven performances. Their music resonates with fans of 311, Citizen Cope, Sublime, and Mac Miller, reflecting Charlie Schubert’s diverse musical journey over two decades.
Charlie Schubert’s musical career began in the early 2000s with the hip-hop funk band Simple Vibe in Crested Butte, CO. Over the years, he has been involved in numerous projects, including ill Measures, The Spotlyte Junkies, and Tattooed Strings, a Denver-based band active from 2011 to 2018. Tattooed Strings garnered recognition for opening shows at iconic venues like the Fillmore Auditorium and performing at festivals such as High Elevation Rock at Fiddler’s Green. One of their standout tracks, “Flowing River,” became a local hit, spending over three years on KBPI, Denver’s premier rock radio station.
Since forming Moonshine Schubert, Charlie has poured his heart and soul into writing songs that connect with listeners on a deep, personal level. His collaboration with Tyler Carr (keyboards), Skylar Herbert (drums), and Patrick Adams (bass) has strengthened the band’s dynamic, blending heartfelt singer-songwriter lyrics with rap, live instrumentation, and an unforgettable emotional intensity.
Moonshine Schubert is not just a band—it’s a movement of raw, real, and relatable music that takes you on a journey from the mountains to the beach. Whether they’re rocking the local Sun Valley scene or hitting the stage elsewhere, their shows are an unmissable experience.
